There’s a tree that grows in southern Africa and Madagascar, and this tree is miraculously resistant to drought. When fruit drops from the trees, women in village co-ops collect the plum-like fruit (which contains four times as much vitamin C as an orange), and then they carefully hand-harvest the oil from the kernels inside.
